Welcome to our website: Project 8.

This site has been created by our pupils, to showcase the work that they have produced during this year’s Creative Partnership programme based on the theme ‘Real World, Rich Tasks’.

Over 200 pupils from across all age ranges, abilities and subjects have taken part in this inclusive project.

Our aim was to give the pupils the opportunity to develop their creative and reflective learning skills within a range of enrichment activities; to introduce the pupils to enterprising and creative individuals from a range of professions; to work independently; and to make important decisions.

It is clear from the work contained within this website that the pupils have by far exceeded our aims and expectations. What you see here is also the result of a unique collaboration between the college and the creative community. Over the past six months pupils have worked with journalists, poets, website designers, documentary film makers, radio editors, the BBC, perfumers and computer programmers.

All the work showcased has been created by the pupils themselves. They have come up with the ideas and they have developed new skills and new ways of working in order to achieve what you see here.
